What is RadViz®
RadViz® is a triangular radar reflector fitted to vehicles to improve vehicle detection by Radar-based vehicle sensor systems.
RadViz® reflects incoming radar waves back towards the vehicle’s source, helping systems such as Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) recognise vehicles that may otherwise appear unusual and difficult to detect.
Why
Improving radar visibility helps ensure vehicles that stop on highways or in active lanes are correctly identified, reducing the risk of highway collisions, especially in low-visibility conditions such as fog, rain or nighttime operations.

How It Works
RadViz® enhances a vehicle’s radar cross-section (RCS), ensuring a more robust radar return signal.
This ensures radar sensors used in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving technologies reliably detect and correctly classify the vehicle as a road vehicle rather than an unidentified object.
